within Conservator

Welcome to Conservator, where safety, health, the environment, and quality are at the heart of our company policy. My name is Bennie Traets, and at Conservator, I am responsible for Safety, Quality, Environment, and Health (SHEQ) during our operations at our various work sites. As the SHEQ coordinator, I provide guidance and oversee the implementation of our SHEQ policy.

Our guiding principles are clear: everyone who works with or for us returns home safe and sound every day. We either work safely or we don't! Safety, quality and the environment are inextricably linked. We can only deliver quality if we work safely and carefully, with care for welfare and the environment.

Conservator insists every day to:
  • Prevent accidents, property damage and environmental damage by creating and continuously improving a good, safe and sustainable working environment.
  • Deliver products and services consistently and comply with applicable laws and regulations, customer needs and requirements.
  • Document and control critical business processes and assess the management system on an ongoing basis through audits, reviews, registrations and management reviews.
  • Set up process parameters In order to measure, manage and improve quality-critical operations/processes.
  • Measure customer and employee satisfaction periodically and keep it at the highest possible level.
  • Record and follow up customer complaints and feedback to improve services.
  • Continuously raise quality and safety awareness among employees through training, education and awareness.
  • Continuously reduce the environmental impact of our operations on the living environment.
  • Being conscious of resources, materials and energy sources and to choose sustainable applications and/or products where possible.
  • Enabling our employees and other stakeholders to function at their best with equal opportunities and without discrimination or harassment based on skin colour, race, religion, gender or other status protected by law.
  • Very carefully handle personal data of staff, customers, suppliers and other stakeholders and third-party equipment during handling and use.
  • Provide time, money and resources to realise the above.
